About us

T-town Childcare and Rec Center, LLCs mission is to reach as many families as possible, offering quality play-based childcare for children 6 weeks through 12 years old.

We are a STAR 4 quality center who blends play-based philosophy with a STARS-approved, high-quality curriculum that exceeds Pennsylvania’s Early Childhood Learning Standards. 

** We serve only home-made, nutritional meals and snacks using as many organic foods as possible and available. We are also the ONLY facility in our area to make our very own homemade, organic baby food purees. We focus on nutrition because healthy foods using real ingredients fuels our bodies and minds to maximize health and learning. You will catch us gardening (the children plant, tend to, harvest, and eat! all our nutritious garden foods) all summer long! **

T-town Childcare offers discounts to several businesses in our area, including Cargill, teachers, medical professionals, and those who are serving in our military. 

T-town Childcare accepts subsidy clients and we do not cap the number of subsidy clients we accept. If you meet the qualifications and we have a spot available, we will fulfill that spot with you. 

Our staff have a combined 75+ years of early childhood experience. Over 50% of our staff either have a degree, are enrolled in school to obtain their degree, or are working towards their CDA credentials. All staff are Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED trained and certified.
